The Hearth and Candle is privately operated and centrally located in the beautiful Smuggers' Notch Resort. Our  team fuses bold flavors, using only the highest-quality ingredients, to create a unique dining experience.

We proudly support our vibrant agricultural community by featuring Vermont products throughout the year, from artisan cheeses, meats, and breads to fresh produce and craft beers and spirits.

CUSTOM

Our three distinct dining rooms offer the perfect setting for any occasion. In the Sun Room, ideal for young families, our littlest diners enjoy an award-winning children's menu. In the cozy Hearth Room, sit beside the fire or grab a seat at the bar. Upstairs in the elegant Birch Room, share an intimate dinner in an adults-only atmosphere.
